ASTRONOMY Lets talk about the universe. Weird huh, right after one post. There's another. So as I said, I was listening to Painkiller Already, and instead of talking about games, they started talking about the universe and aliens! I personally believe in aliens, I think science defeats religion totally. I'll start this off with this sentence; if you can travel a billion times faster than light and travel a billion light years away. You will see Earth when it was forming, 4.5 billion years ago. Why you may ask? Because the light emitted during that time are still traveling through space, and if you travel faster than that, you will see how it looked like 4.5 billion years ago, for me, it was mind blowing, literally mind blowing. It's also surprising how closely related mathematics and science are. There are stars out there, way way way bigger than our sun, go to YouTube and search "biggest star known to man". If I could remember it, I think it was called VY Canis Majoris? Basically it's like if 1/10000 of it's surface can cover your whole screen, the sun is less than a pixel. But then think further, all stars will come to an end, including our sun. It'll run out of "fuel" and burn out, what happens is that all the reactions within the star will result in a heavier substance. Then it gets so heavy with so much pressure that the core collapses, forming vacuum. Hence the layers start to fall inside resulting in a black hole. If that happens to something the size of VY Canis Majoris, the result would be tremendously hazardous!
